it’s that time again; shortly before Christmas,we got some great new features for set.a.light 3D.
Besides a new aperture of enormous f/0.95 and a lot new lenses, the update contains three huge innovations.
You will find the first one in the setlist.
We implemented a litte eye, which can hide and unhide single objects in the studioview.
For example you can now hide the camera, if she is in place and you want to work in the studio without a blocked view.
The second function is the grid. It is located beside the studiolight.
If activated, it helps you very well at positioning the elements and objects.
As soon as an object is dragged by the mouse, its length values are shown automatically as positioning aid.
Also the height value is shown if the height of the camera or a flash head are changed.
The Grid (in meter unit) is visible in the studio, which means, that it won’t be rendered or shown in the PDF, in case it hasn’t been deactivated.
The last and maybe the best innovation for many of you is that it is now possible to add own flash heads.
The importer can be acccessed over “edit” (on the menu bar) or in the detailsettings of the flash head.
You can create an individual name and afterwards set the control range and of course the power of the flash head.
We wish you a lot of fun with the new features, merry christmas and a happy new year.
