Today's newsletter brings you yet another fresh dose of inspiration straight from our creative community.

Whether you're refining your technique or exploring new styles, these setups are here to fuel your next SAL3D or portrait session.

A. Enhanced Results with Generative AI

Taking it one step further: enhance your renders with an AI tool like ChatGPT or krea.ai for facial refinement to achieve next-level lifelike results. This combination is ideal for client presentations or creative planning.

This powerful combination also allows for playful experimentation, enabling you to visualize different looks and characters.

B. Colors, Vintage and Minimalism

The following standout lighting setups capture the essence of color-rich compositions, vintage moods, and clean minimalist styles.

Whether you're drawn to bold hues, nostalgic tones, or refined simplicity, there's inspiration here for every creative direction.

Nine Sets From the Community

Two Gen-AI refinement sets to start, six color- and minimalism-driven setups, plus a bonus pick to close.

Testing ChatGPT 4o

by Thierry Sourbier

The default SAL setup, it can't be less original — but: the goal here is to test Gen AI rendering in particular ChatGPT 4o with the prompt 'can you transform this 3D rendering into an ultra-realistic picture?' — can't say I'm disappointed. I did this on the free plan; unlike krea.ai, anything too sexy — even if dressed — may not be rendered.

Home Studio Series

by Reschauer Photography

The shot is part of a series to prepare a shooting in a small home studio. The series was used to create a mood board. Creative staging of the Disco theme by highlighting movement, the colors, the light, and the party. The goal is to present an original creative image using studio lighting techniques and advanced techniques such as light painting.
