Each light setup was put into practice by using only one light source, making it easy for you to copy them into your real setting with a minimum of equipment.
One-Light-Setups usually distinguish themselves by a vigorous interplay of light and shadow, as well as a focus on the essential. Additionally we decided on black and white to make the images particularly effective.
But in set.a.light 3D you can also easily switch into the colour mode, to see the difference immediately.
With this type of photography, it’s especially important to mind the picture composition and to include the shadow. Since the images live from the almost sculptural presentation of the model, the floor plan and the positioning of the shadow.
In set.a.light 3D you’ve got time to experiment with all of that and test the effect.
When creating your own light setup, it’s best to use hard light shapers or striplights with honeycomb. Pay attention to choose interesting details and views.
Of course the one-light-setups can easily be expanded with another light source. With the second light you can place nice accents and light edges, or brighten up the picture’s darker spots. The lighting setups, you can also build with Speedlights.
